Heroic Student Mélanie Amougou Loses Life Saving a Child in Tragic Traffic Accident

A devastating traffic accident in Yaoundé has claimed the life of 22-year-old Mélanie Amougou, a student at the University of Yaoundé 2, who selflessly gave her life to save a child.

According to eyewitness reports, Mélanie was attempting to cross the road while holding a baby in her arms when a speeding truck lost control and headed towards her. With her quick thinking and protective instincts, she pushed the baby aside to safety, but unfortunately, this heroic act proved fatal for her.

Mélanie, an only child to her mother, tragically lost her life in the accident, leaving behind a community in mourning for the young student who gave her life to save another.
