JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) announced the appointment of Hery Gunardi as its new President Director during its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) on Monday, March 24, 2025. Gunardi succeeds Sunarso in the role.
Sunarso was initially appointed as Managing Director of BRI on September 2, 2019, at an Remarkable General Meeting of Shareholders, and afterward re-appointed as President director at the AGM on March 13, 2023. Hery Gunardi has served as the President Director of Indonesian Sharia Bank (BSI) since 2021.
Along with the President Director appointment, the AGM also resulted in changes to other director positions.Catur Budi Harto was dismissed as Deputy Director. Agus Noorsanto, formerly Director of Wholesales and Institutional Business, will replace him.
The AGM also approved the appointment of Hakim Putratama as director of Operations and Riko Tasmaya as Director of Corporate Banking.
Aquarius Rudianto was appointed as Director of Network and Retail Funding. Farida Thamrin will serve as Director of Treasury and International Banking, and Akhmad Purwakajaya as Director of Micro.
Alexander Dippo Paris YS was named Commercial Banking Director, Nancy Adistyasari as Director of Consumer Banking, Mucharom as Director of Risk Management, and Saladin Dharma Nugraha Effendi as Director of Details Technology.
From the ranks of the commissioners, Parman Nataatmadja was appointed as the Deputy Commissioner/Independent Commissioner, replacing Rofikoh Rochim.
Helvi Yuni Moraza was also appointed as a Commissioner. Edi susianto and Lukmanul khakim were both appointed as independent commissioners.
