Hezbollah Fires 160 Projectiles at Northern Israel Amid Drone Attacks
Israeli Military Reports Rocket Attacks from Hezbollah
The Israeli military announced that approximately 160 rockets were fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon into northern and central Israel. They reported successfully intercepting some of these projectiles.
As of 3:00 PM local time on November 24, 2024, the military stated that the attacks resulted in several injuries. Medical sources indicated that at least one man sustained moderate to serious injuries.
Earlier, the Israeli military detected drone attacks originating from Lebanon, which activated air raid sirens. However, no casualties were reported from these drone activities.
According to Al-Jazeera, the Israeli military monitored several drones crossing into northern Israel from Lebanon, starting at 6:30 AM. The Times of Israel reported that these drones triggered air raid alerts in various towns in western and northern Galilee. The drone activities ceased about one hour later.
Israel intercepted two of the drones, but the military did not confirm whether Hezbollah was responsible for the aerial assaults. Further interception attempts were underway as tensions continued.
