Bratislava – Drivers planning to use Slovak highways at the start of the new year should be aware of a planned technical outage. The electronic highway stamp sales system will be temporarily unavailable overnight from Wednesday, January 1, 2025, to Thursday, January 2, 2025.
Sales Interruption on New Year’s Eve
The National Highway Company (NDSAS) announced a short maintenance period affecting the electronic motorway sign system. This outage will prevent the purchase of electronic highway stamps during the specified timeframe.
Highway Stamp Costs Remain Unchanged
According to the National Highway Company, the cost of highway stamps will remain consistent with previous years. Current pricing includes:
- 10-day stamp: 10.80 euros
- one-day stamp: 8.10 euros
Purchase Stamps Through Official Channels
NDS urges drivers to purchase electronic highway stamps exclusively through official channels to avoid potential issues. This ensures lower prices and easier resolution of any complaints or problems with records.
After the maintenance period, stamps can be purchased online via the NDSAS website, through their mobile application, at gas stations, or at information and sales points located at highway border crossings.
