Professional baseball has achieved a significant milestone, surpassing 10 million spectators for the first time since its launch in 1982.
The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced that the number of spectators officially counted exceeded 10 million, marking a historic moment for the sport.
As of the previous day, 9,943,600 people had attended games, leaving only 56,000 spectators needed to reach the 10 million mark. However, with sellouts recorded at Incheon Munhak Stadium, Sajik Stadium, and Gwangju Stadium, the milestone was achieved.
