Kylian Mbappe, France’s top scorer, scored the first goal 27 seconds into the second half, helping his side Real Madrid to their first win in the UCL.
Rodrigo intercepted the ball and dribbled forward at high speed, connecting with Mbappe, who finished the ball with his right foot and hit the top corner.
Mbappe’s goal was not recorded as the winning goal, but he showed his sharp toes in three consecutive official games, including scoring his first UCL goal as a member of Real Madrid.
Aston Villa Returns to UCL Stage
Aston Villa, who returned to the UCL stage for the first time in 41 years, beat Young Boys 3-0.
Aston Villa took the lead with Yuri Tielemans’ first goal from a corner kick in the 27th minute of the first half.

Aston Villa won 3–0 in the 41st minute of the second half when Amadou Onana’s low right-footed shot hit the bottom corner of the goal.

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has won 89 European competitions since the Europa League was launched in the 2009-2010 season.
He is third in terms of most wins as a coach behind Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and Fenerbahce coach Jose Mourinho.
Coach Emery alone has lifted four trophies in the Europa League.
