Boy, 15, Dies ‍Following Co down Hit-And-Run

A ‌community is in mourning after a 15-year-old boy tragically⁢ died following ‍a hit-and-run incident in County ‍Down.

Ballynahinch,‍ Co Down – A⁤ devastating hit-and-run⁤ incident has claimed the life of a 15-year-old ​boy in ​County Down, ‌sending shockwaves through the local community.the young victim was struck​ by a vehicle on Saturday‌ evening, and the driver of the car involved failed to stop at the scene.

The tragic event occurred on the evening of saturday,July 6th,on the Circular Road in Ballynahinch. Emergency services were ​called to the scene, but sadly, the boy was pronounced dead shortly ⁤after.

The driver of the vehicle involved is still at large, and police are urging them to surrender themselves. “We are also appealing directly to the driver of the vehicle ‌involved to do the right thing ‌and come forward,” DI Nelson added.⁢ “We need ⁤to speak to you to⁣ understand what‌ happened.”
