HL7 India’s FHIR Connectathon 2021 Drives Healthcare Interoperability
HL7 india successfully hosted the second edition of its FHIR Connectathon from Dec. 10-12, 2021, aiming to boost the adoption of healthcare facts dialogue standards across India. HL7 India is the accredited Indian affiliate of Health Level Seven International.
The FHIR Connectathon 2021, supported by Karkinos healthcare and AliveCor India, along with endorsements from NRCeS and HIMSS India, featured seven tracks designed for varied expertise levels. Participants explored the FHIR ecosystem, built FHIR servers, tackled terminology challenges, constructed cancer registries, examined FHIR and DICOM integration, and designed FHIR resources compliant with Structured Data Capture (SDC).
The event welcomed software developers, business analysts, engineers, tech enthusiasts, domain experts, and medical practitioners. HL7 India emphasized ethical conduct, prohibiting the use of the event for competitive intelligence or disclosing information about othre participants’ systems.

Registration fees were Rs.2860 for HL7 India members and Rs. 3450 for non-members.
