Erstein to Host Pop Fiction Festival: A Weekend of Magic and Pop Culture
ERSTEIN, France—The Pop Fiction festival kicks off Friday, May 2, with a showing of the first harry Potter film at the Erian cinema, starting at 6:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress up.
Authors, Exhibits, and Vintage Gaming
Saturday, May 3, and sunday, May 4, the Saint-Martin and Hérinstein rooms will host a variety of activities. Eleven authors of comic books, novels, children’s books, and manga will showcase their work and offer personalized dedications. A small exhibition and a Hogwarts castle made of toy bricks will also be on display.
We will have a vintage space, made up of old video games and board games, Pokémon maps.

Catarina added that round tables, led by the authors, will cover topics such as adapting comics to film. the Hérinstein room will feature video games, pinball machines, and board games, with tournaments scheduled for the afternoons. The Iconic Strasbourg association, a cosplay group, will be present throughout the weekend.

Alternative energy and Community Gathering in Sélestat
SÉLESTAT, France—An alternative press event focused on energy conservation and community engagement will feature activities such as flower seed exchanges and a bicycle self-repair stand. Velectricyclette will provide free advice and parts for purchase for bicycle repairs. Food stands will offer sandwiches, flambé pies, pancakes, homemade pastries, and both hot and cold beverages.
Musical entertainment will be provided by a flute ensemble, and at 7 p.m., the feminist choir Les Sélestat’s Matches will perform their inaugural concert. A folk ball with Doe Feet will follow at 7:30 p.m., lasting until 10 p.m.

Ill Accordion Club Concert: A Tribute to Screen Music
The Ill accordion club will present its annual concert on Saturday,May 3,at 8:15 p.m. and Sunday, May 4, at 2:15 p.m. at the Tanzmatten in Sélestat. The concert will feature music from films, television series, cartoons, and musicals.
Under the direction of Patrick Herzog and the leadership of Jean Marc Edel, the orchestra, along with singers and dancers, will provide an escape into the world of screen entertainment.

Ramstein Choir Spring Concert
The Les Trouvères du Ramstein choir of Scherwiller will perform a spring concert at the Sainte-Foy church in Sélestat on Thursday, May 1, at 5 p.m. The program includes religious pieces, classics, and international songs.
Raymond Stiegler, president of the Gamadji Saré association, will participate in a humanitarian poetic prelude. The Gamadji Saré association supports a village in Senegal.
Admission is free, and donations will be collected for the gamadji Saré association to support its projects.
