Hollywood, CA – Tinseltown is gearing up for a beloved tradition as the 92nd annual Hollywood Christmas Parade takes to the streets this Sunday, bringing holiday magic and celebrity sparkle to the heart of Los Angeles.
The 3.2-mile procession, a dazzling spectacle of marching bands, giant character balloons, equestrian groups, and festive floats, will culminate with the arrival of Santa Claus himself. Thousands are expected to line Hollywood Boulevard, eager to witness the spectacle and kick off the holiday season.
this year’s parade, themed “Hollywood Christmas Parade Supporting Marine Toys for Tots,” will be led by Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner, best known for his role as Hawkeye in the “Avengers” film series.
“I’m honored to serve as the grand marshal for this year’s Hollywood Christmas Parade and excited to partner with Toys for Tots to bring joy to children in need,” Renner said. “Their mission aligns closely with the work we do at the RennerVation Foundation,creating meaningful experiences for at-risk youth. This season of giving is about spreading hope, and I’m thrilled to share this moment with my family and friends from the foundation as we work together to make a difference.”
Renner joins a prestigious list of past grand marshals, including Hollywood legends like Gene Autry, Charlton Heston, Bob Hope, and more recently, Dwayne Johnson.
Adding to the star-studded lineup, actor Dean Cain and media personalities Laura McKenzie, Montel Williams, and Elizabeth Stanton will host the parade.
Pre-parade festivities promise a treat for the senses, with performances by the cast of the touring musical “Wicked,” Italian singer Anna Azerli, magician My Uyen, and singer Clay Aiken.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, “Access Hollywood” host mario Lopez will be honored as the parade’s Humanitarian of the Year.
