Honda Dash 125 (2026): New Colors & Updates for Revo’s Twin

by Victoria Sterling -Business Editor

Kuala Lumpur – Honda has refreshed its Dash 125 motorcycle, a model closely related to the Honda Revo sold in Indonesia, with new colors and graphics for the 2026 model year. The update, announced by Boon Siew Honda, the official distributor in Malaysia, focuses on aesthetic enhancements rather than significant mechanical changes.

The Dash 125 remains fundamentally unchanged in terms of its core design and engine. It continues to be positioned as an affordable and practical underbone motorcycle suitable for daily commuting in Southeast Asian markets.

The updated model features a sporty design characterized by sharp fairing lines, a halogen headlight, and dynamic front and rear mudguards. The seat is designed for both rider and passenger comfort. However, the most notable changes are the introduction of four new color options – Silver, Blue, White, and Green – coupled with two new graphic schemes: Modern Sporty and Neo Sportivo.

The Silver, Blue, and White variants will sport the Modern Sporty style, described as featuring sharp, layered geometric graphics. The Green trim, however, will be exclusively paired with the Neo Sportivo scheme, which boasts a bold green finish accented with dark grey, silver stripes, and the white Honda wing logo on both sides. Honda claims the new paint finishes offer a more three-dimensional appearance.

Underneath the new aesthetics, the Dash 125 retains its 124.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two-valve engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 9.85 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.54 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is delivered to the rear wheel via a four-speed rotary gearbox with a centrifugal clutch and chain final drive.

Honda emphasizes the engine’s fuel efficiency, claiming approximately 59 kilometers per liter. The motorcycle is equipped with both electric and kick-start systems for convenience. The Dash 125’s lightweight construction, weighing around 105 kg, and a relatively low seat height of 767 mm are designed to accommodate riders in the region.

Safety features include disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, paired with tubeless tires. The 2026 Honda Dash 125 is priced at RM 6,599 in Malaysia, excluding road tax, insurance, and registration fees.

The updates to the 2026 Honda Dash 125 primarily focus on visual appeal, reinforcing the model’s position as a cost-effective and reliable option in the 125cc underbone motorcycle segment. While the mechanical components remain largely unchanged, the new color schemes and graphics aim to attract a wider range of buyers seeking a stylish and practical commuter vehicle. The continued emphasis on fuel efficiency and ease of maintenance further solidifies its appeal in price-sensitive markets.

The Dash 125’s status as a twin to the Honda Revo in Indonesia suggests that similar cosmetic updates may also be introduced to the Revo model in the Indonesian market, though no official announcements have been made regarding the Revo as of .
