Honda Teases Redesigned PCX 160 for 2025 Launch in Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand – motorcycle enthusiasts are buzzing with anticipation as Honda prepares to unveil the redesigned PCX 160 in Thailand early next year. The new model is expected to closely resemble the recently launched PCX 125, which debuted in Europe with a fresh, aggressive design.
According to Thai media outlet Greatbiker, the PCX 160 will sport a bolder look, featuring dual headlights and a wider, more sculpted fairing. Like it’s predecessor, the updated PCX 160 will retain LED daytime running lights for enhanced visibility.
At the rear, Honda has made subtle yet noticeable changes to the taillights and turn signals. The taillight now adopts a distinctive “V” shape, departing from the previous “X” design. The turn signals have also been repositioned, extending downwards like fangs for a more predatory appearance.
While the PCX 160 will benefit from a host of modern features, including traction control (HSTC), Idling Stop System, ABS-equipped disc brakes, a USB Type-C charging port, Smart Key, and Honda’s RoadSync connectivity system paired with a full-color TFT instrument panel, it will reportedly forgo Honda’s VTEC variable valve technology.
Honda remains confident in the performance of the PCX 160’s existing 160cc eSP+ engine, a four-valve, single-cylinder, SOHC unit that delivers 15.5 horsepower and 15 Nm of torque.
The official launch date and pricing for the 2025 Honda PCX 160 in Thailand are yet to be announced.
