“In peru, the advance will be gradual and will depend on the infrastructure that the country can offer,” Igarashi said. “we can bring the products, but there must be an ecosystem that supports them. It is already being given, but on a small scale.”

Sorsa Motors’ Role in Honda’s Growth
Fernando del Águila, general manager of Sorsa Motors, anticipates providing more than 1,000 monthly services and selling 2,000 units within their first year of operation.

Concerns Over Motorcycle Regulations
Regarding the regulation prohibiting two people from riding a motorcycle in Lima and Callao, implemented to reduce crime, Igarashi expressed reservations. He believes this type of measure will not effectively address the government’s objectives.
“A motorcycle was not designed for criminals, but to help society,” Igarashi stated. “This type of standards must be discussed more maturely. We do not believe that it generates an immediate impact on sales, but it is important to address the issue from a more technical and professional perspective.”
