Renowned artist Hani Adel has confessed to being⁤ addicted to‌ buying guitars, with an impressive ⁤collection ‌of 48 guitars. Among his favorite guitarists are the legendary Gary Moore and Egyptian ‌music icon Omar Khorshid, who is credited with introducing ​new music styles.

A Bond with Downtown⁤ Band

During an interview on ⁣the⁤ One People program with journalist Amr Al-Laithi, Adel expressed his deep connection with the downtown band, stating, “They are my⁤ sisters and the people closest to⁤ my ‌heart. We have not separated and will not. We have reached the international stage‍ and performed ‌numerous concerts worldwide.”

Respect for Maharaganat Songs

Adel ⁣emphasized the importance of‌ respecting Maharaganat songs, which he considers an Egyptian ​invention. He believes that Egypt has a rich musical heritage, including folklore, traditional, and modern Arabic music. He mentioned that some songs, although popular,⁣ may contain inappropriate language, but noted that this is not unique to Egypt, as similar issues exist in Western​ music.
