“I was very courageous to wriet a book, and I wanted to testify how God worked in such a arduous situation,” Hong Century said.“And I wanted to correct the wrong perception of our people in Africa. God loved Africa and wanted to talk about it as a hopeful continent.”
hong Century emphasized the resilience of his students. “Our students are the best students because we are overwhelmed by the conflict of Uganda, we are overcoming the deprivation and absolute poverty of living as a refugee because of the war of South Sudan,” he said. “Africa is a great continent that overcomes bloody history.”

When asked about his approach to raising children, including singer Hong Eak, Hong Century stated, “I have never taught children about studying, faith life, and lifestyle. It was likely to be motivated by myself, and I didn’t emphasize it myself.” He added, “I didn’t have to teach and help.”

He concluded by advocating for the collection and sharing of personal stories in one’s own language. “If this is not the way, it will be difficult to keep the Low -human miscarriage, such as the good philosophy and value of the African people, and to convey it to others. Christians have many implications from the lives of African people, so Africa can contribute to mutual sharing.”
