Honor 600 Lite: Specs, Features & Price in Hungary
Honor has launched the 600 Lite, a new smartphone building on the foundation of the previously released Honor 400 Lite. While not a massive leap forward, the 600 Lite offers refinements including an improved display, a slightly more powerful chipset, and a larger battery, all housed within a more robustly designed chassis. The device is currently available in Europe and Hungary, with a recommended retail price of 175,000 Hungarian Forint for the 8GB/256GB configuration.
The most significant upgrade is found in the display. The 600 Lite features a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with a modified aspect ratio, shifting from the previous 6.7-inch size to a wider format. This new display boasts a 10-bit color depth and a 120Hz refresh rate, and is capable of reaching a peak brightness of 6500 nits. Pixel density has also increased to over 430 PPI, thanks to a resolution of 2600 x 1200 pixels.
Honor is integrating several unique features with the Android 16 operating system. These include Gemini Live, Google’s conversational AI, and the “Search with Circle” functionality. The Magic Portal sidebar, mobile wallet support, and an AI-powered writing assistant are also included.
For selfies and video calls, the Honor 600 Lite utilizes a 16-megapixel front-facing camera capable of recording Full HD video. The rear camera system is headlined by a 108-megapixel main sensor, featuring a 1/1.67-inch sensor size and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). It also offers 3x sensor zoom. A secondary 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens completes the rear camera setup.
Powering the Honor 600 Lite is the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 Elite chipset. While the name suggests high performance, it’s an older generation processor. Honor states the phone will deliver a smooth experience for everyday tasks, but may not be ideal for graphically demanding games. The device is available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
Connectivity options include 5G support (Sub-6), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 6.0, A-GPS with Galileo support, and NFC for contactless payments. The phone supports dual SIM functionality and, depending on the region, eSIM compatibility.
The Honor 600 Lite represents an improvement in build quality, now featuring an aluminum alloy frame and a glass back. It maintains a slim profile at 7.3mm thick and weighs 180 grams. The device also boasts an IP66 rating for water and dust resistance, an upgrade from the previous IP65 certification.
The phone includes stereo speakers and an under-display fingerprint sensor. It features a single USB-C port for charging and data transfer. The Honor 600 Lite is available in Gray and Gold color options. Battery life is expected to be strong, combining a 6520mAh battery with an efficient chipset. The battery supports 45W HONOR SuperCharge and reverse charging.
The Honor 600 Lite was released on in Europe. The 8GB/256GB model is priced at 175,000 Hungarian Forint.
