Honor has released its latest Android tablet lineup, anchored by the Honor Pad 20 Pro. The device combines a 12.1-inch screen with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, targeting users who want a hybrid device that bridges the gap between a traditional tablet and a compact laptop, as reported by Les Numériques.

Honor Pad 20 Pro Display and Hardware Specifications

The Honor Pad 20 Pro features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution of 3000 by 1872 pixels, yielding roughly 292 pixels per inch. Les Numériques reported that the metallic chassis measures 6.29 mm in thickness and weighs 537 grams. PhonAndroid measured the maximum screen brightness at 463 nits for standard use and 532 nits under automatic brightness, noting a contrast ratio of 1519:1. Frandroid recorded a peak brightness of 664 nits under shaded outdoor conditions.

The display supports a variable refresh rate that scales across five tiers at 60, 90, 120, 144, and 165 Hz. Audio output is handled by six built-in speakers distributed across the frame. For cameras, the tablet includes an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor and a 13-megapixel rear camera.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Powers MagicOS 10 Multitasking

Under the hood, the device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Frandroid recorded a score of 1,754,000 points on AnTuTu 10 during its benchmark testing and noted that a one-hour stress test retained 90 percent of peak performance without severe thermal throttling.

The tablet operates on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Frandroid added that MagicOS 10 includes a conversion module for Apple iWork file formats such as Pages, Numbers, and Keynote into Microsoft Office formats, alongside wireless secondary screen support for Mac computers.

Battery Lasts 15 Hours with Promotional Pricing

Power is supplied by a 10,100 mAh battery supporting Honor SuperCharge wired charging up to 66 W. Frandroid noted that a full charge cycle from zero to 100 percent takes approximately 90 minutes. PhonAndroid measured battery endurance at nearly 15 hours for local video playback and roughly 7 hours and 50 minutes using the PC Mark multimedia benchmark with a variable refresh rate.

Honor launched a promotional discount valid until November 1, providing a 150-euro coupon that reduces the standalone tablet price to 449.90 euros, or 499.90 euros for a bundled package containing the keyboard, the Magic Pencil 4s stylus, and Honor Choice Earbuds Lite. A standard Honor Pad 20 model is also available for 449.90 euros with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, a 120 Hz display, and slower charging capabilities.
