Hope Women’s Resource Clinic: Helping Southeast Texas Families
Southeast Texas Charity Spotlight: Hope Women’s Resource Clinic Provides vital Support to Expectant Mothers
BEAUMONT – KFDM and DuGood Credit Union are proud to shine a light on local charities making a difference in Southeast Texas. This holiday season, we’re highlighting 12 organizations that embody the spirit of “people helping people.” Today, we meet the dedicated team at the Hope Women’s Resource Clinic.
For 27 years, the Hope Women’s Resource Clinic has been a beacon of support for women facing unplanned pregnancies.
“We’re a faith-based non-profit that helps women in crisis,” explains Jeanette Harvey, Executive Director. “We provide medical services like pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and treatment. We also offer material assistance and educational resources until the baby turns one.”
The clinic’s reach extends far beyond Beaumont, serving Jefferson, Hardin, Chambers, galveston, and Orange counties. A mobile unit even travels to Crystal Beach every Thursday, bringing vital services directly to women in need.
“We have two exam rooms, a waiting area, and a lab in our mobile unit,” Harvey says. “We spend four or five hours there, seeing as many as eight clients if time allows, providing all the medical services we can.”
With nine medical professionals on staff, along with administrative and client service personnel, the Hope Clinic is committed to providing thorough care.
Funding for this essential work comes primarily from generous community support.
“Our annual gala attracts over 900 people and raises about half of our budget,” Harvey notes. ”We also rely heavily on private donations, including our ‘baby bottle campaign’ where churches and individuals fill baby bottles with coins – though I personally prefer checks with lots of numbers!”
Other fundraising initiatives include a clay shoot in February and a pickleball tournament in April.
this year alone, the Hope Clinic has provided medical services and material assistance to over 4,000 women. Recognizing the growing need for extended support, the clinic is currently constructing a 3,400 square foot parenting center on its property.
“This will allow us to offer classes and material assistance five days a week instead of just one,” Harvey explains.
The Hope Women’s Resource Clinic has a long-standing partnership with DuGood credit Union.
“We have personal relationships with many of the staff members who have been involved in our events and initiatives,” Harvey says. “We are incredibly grateful for their support.”

The clinic’s impact extends far beyond Beaumont, reaching women in Jefferson, Hardin, Chambers, Galveston, and Orange counties. A mobile unit traverses the region, bringing essential services directly to communities in need, including a weekly stop in Crystal Beach.

Recognizing the growing need for extended support services, the Hope Clinic is currently constructing a 3,400 square foot parenting center on its property. This new facility will allow the clinic to expand its offerings, providing classes and material assistance five days a week, instead of just one.
