An oklahoma man,Erick Nimsey,41,is accused of domestic assault after allegedly asking a 911 dispatcher to decide where he should stab his father,Eddie Davis,63,during an emergency call. The incident occurred at an apartment in Del city, just outside Oklahoma City.
During the 911 call, Nimsey allegedly asked the dispatcher to choose between his father’s left or right foot, stating that the decision would be on the dispatcher. Davis could be heard screaming in the background as the attack continued.
Local news outlet KWTV reported that the dispatcher spent six minutes on the phone with Nimsey, attempting to keep him talking until police arrived. Upon arrival, officers found Nimsey in a nearby room and Davis with life-threatening injuries in the kitchen.
Nimsey was arrested and faces charges of domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon and domestic assault and battery resulting in great bodily harm. He is being held on a $25,000 bond at the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
