Jesse Williams Tackles Action and Comedy in ‘Hotel Costiera’

Prime Video is set to release Hotel costiera, an action comedy series starring Jesse Williams, best known for his role in Gray’s Anatomy. Williams not only leads the cast but also serves as an executive producer for the series, which is set against the backdrop of the Italian coastline.
The Hotel Costiera trailer offers a glimpse into the series,which follows Daniel De Luca (williams),a half-Italian,former U.S. Marine. De Luca returns to Italy and takes on the role of a “fixer” at a luxurious hotel in Positano. His duties involve resolving issues for the hotel’s wealthy clientele. However, De Luca also becomes entangled in a more personal and dangerous mission: finding Alice, the hotel owner’s daughter, who disappeared a month prior. Navigating the search and confronting her kidnappers proves to be De Luca’s most challenging task yet.
The action comedy series, Hotel Costiera, is directed by Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli. Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill, and Francesco Arlanch penned the screenplay, basing it on an idea by Luca Bernabei. Bernabei is also producing the series for Lux Vide, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Filming took place on location in Italy.
