Hotel Horrors: The Dark Side of Hospitality – Threats, Blackmail, and the Shocking Ordeal of Saudi Activist Fahd Al-Mawlid
Saudi Footballer Fahd al-Mawlid’s Accident Sparks Investigation and Outrage
Saudi activist Manal al-Subi Fahd has shed light on the circumstances surrounding the accident involving Saudi national team and Al-Shabaab club player Fahd al-Mawlid, who fell from the balcony of his home in Dubai on September 12.
Al-Mawlid is currently in intensive care at an Emirate hospital, and Dubai Police have arrested several people who were with him on the night of the incident. The investigation is ongoing, but Manal al-Subi has claimed that al-Mawlid was blackmailed by some personalities at a hotel in Dubai.
According to al-Subi, al-Mawlid did not respond to the blackmailers and decided to leave the hotel and stay in his own apartment. However, the blackmailers allegedly decided to send someone to throw him off the balcony of his own house.
Al-Subi has threatened those involved in the accident, stating that she will not show mercy to them if al-Mawlid loses his life. She took to Twitter to express her outrage, saying: “I am silent, God bless Fahd, and if anything happens to him, I swear to God, you will have a nightmare in your dreams.”
Al-Mawlid had traveled to Dubai after the end of the Saudi national team camp, during which the team faced the Indonesian and Chinese national teams in the first and second rounds of the third round of Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The incident has sparked widespread shock and outrage, with many calling for justice for al-Mawlid and his family. The investigation is ongoing, and Dubai Police are working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the accident.
