Spain’s tax agency, the Agencia Tributaria, is maintaining the Le Llamamos
(We Call You) service for the 2025 fiscal year tax campaign. This system allows taxpayers to complete their tax returns via a telephone call with technical personnel, serving as an intermediate option between autonomous online filing and in-person office visits.
The telephone assistance service is operational from May 6 to June 30, 2026. Because the service is based on a scheduled appointment system with limited availability depending on demand, taxpayers must plan their requests in advance.
Appointment Scheduling and Deadlines
To access the telephone service, taxpayers are required to book an appointment within a specific window. Requests for these appointments can be made starting April 29 and will remain open until June 29, 2026.

The Agencia Tributaria assigns available time slots based on demand. Taxpayers who wish to use this channel are encouraged to act early to secure a date and time that fits their schedule. The entire tax campaign, including the telephone, in-person, and electronic channels, concludes on June 30, 2026.
In contrast to the telephone service, in-person assistance at offices follows a different timeline. Appointments for face-to-face help can be requested starting May 29, with actual in-person attention provided between June 1 and June 30, 2026.
How to Request a Telephone Appointment
The primary method for reserving an appointment is through the official electronic headquarters of the Agencia Tributaria. To use this portal, taxpayers must identify themselves using authorized systems, which include:
- NIF or NIE
- Cl@ve
- Reference number
- Electronic DNI
- Electronic certificate
Alternatively, appointment requests can be made via the telephone numbers designated for the campaign. Once the user selects the option for telephone tax return preparation, the system displays a calendar of available dates.
A contact telephone number is required during the booking process. The Agencia Tributaria will use this number to call the taxpayer at the selected time. All official calls for this service will originate from the number 913 335 333.
Taxpayers may modify or cancel their appointments through the same channels used to book them. The agency requires that cancellations be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled call. If a call is missed without prior cancellation, the user must request a new appointment, provided We find remaining vacancies.
Required Documentation
Because the tax return is prepared in real-time during the call, the Agencia Tributaria emphasizes the necessity of having all documentation ready. The primary account holder must be present during the call for identity verification. Those using the Cl@ve system must have the associated phone available, or otherwise possess their reference number.
Essential documentation includes:
- The taxpayer’s DNI and copies of IDs for any other contributors included in the declaration.
- The IBAN of the bank account.
- Cadastral references for any properties.
taxpayers should prepare documents for any income or deductions not already appearing in the official fiscal data. This includes information regarding:
- Employment income and capital yields.
- Economic activities or financial assets.
- Real estate operations.
- Regional autonomous deductions or other tax benefits.
The agency warns that the absence of these details during the call may prevent the successful completion of the tax return.
