The PG-rated “How to Train Your Dragon” is projected to gross $82.7 million over the three-day weekend, exceeding initial estimates of $70 million to $80 million. If projections hold, this would be the franchise’s best debut, surpassing the $55 million opening of “How to Train Your dragon: The Hidden World” in 2019.
