Singer-songwriter Hozier is postponing two upcoming concerts as he recovers from a virus. The proclamation follows a performance at Gov Ball where he admitted to feeling unwell.
Hozier announced the postponement of his shows in Camden, N.J., and Ridgedale, Mo., on X, citing illness. The affected dates were originally scheduled for Tuesday in New Jersey and Thursday in missouri.
The Camden show is now set for July 15, and the Ridgedale performance will take place on July 22. According to Hozier, previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new dates, and ticket holders will receive email updates.
Hozier apologized for any inconvenience,confirming that his June 15 performance will proceed as planned. The Irish artist expressed gratitude to fans for their understanding.
During his headlining set at Gov Ball, Hozier told the New York City crowd that he and some band members were battling a virus. He joked about his voice, saying he usually sounds better and was experiencing “the specter of puberty one more time.”
