HP EliteBoard G1a: AI-Integrated Keyboard PC Arrives in Spain

HP has introduced the EliteBoard G1a, the first full AI PC integrated directly into a keyboard form factor. Designed for shared and dedicated workspaces, the device aims to eliminate the bulk of traditional desktop setups by housing the processing power within a slim, portable keyboard.

The device was unveiled on January 5, 2026, at CES 2026, where it was recognized as a CES 2026 Innovation Award Honoree. According to HP, the EliteBoard G1a is the company’s smallest and lightest AI PC, intended to provide local AI performance that can move between different work environments.

Hardware Specifications and Design

The EliteBoard G1a is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor. A central feature of the hardware is its neural processing unit (NPU), which is capable of more than 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This local AI processing power is intended to support AI-heavy workloads, including adaptive performance and smarter collaboration tools.

Physically, the device maintains a minimalist profile with a thickness of 12 mm and a total weight of 750 grams. To support professional communication and flexibility, the keyboard includes:

• Integrated speakers
• Dual microphones
• An optional battery for increased mobility

To manage thermal output and processing efficiency, HP included HP Smart Sense. This technology automatically adjusts the device’s cooling and performance levels based on the active workload.

Security and Enterprise Protection

The EliteBoard G1a incorporates HP Wolf Security for Business to protect AI workflows. This security suite provides hardware-level protection designed to defend against firmware attacks. HP states that the security architecture is built to defend against emerging quantum threats.

Ecosystem and Availability

Alongside the EliteBoard G1a, HP introduced the HP Series 7 Pro 4K Monitor. This display is described as the world’s first Neo:LED desktop monitor, designed to enhance visual precision for professional creation and collaboration.

The HP EliteBoard G1a became available for purchase on HP.com starting March 2026. The product has also been rolled out to international markets, including Spain.
