Charging prices remained stable in December, but high-power charging (HPC) stations saw a welcome drop, now averaging €0.75/kWh. This matches the average cost of DC fast chargers. To be cheaper than gasoline, electricity shouldn’t cost more than €0.60-€0.65.
Adiconsum adn TARIFFEV conducted the latest price survey and also published a report on all of 2025. The year saw many new charging operators enter the market, particularly at high-power stations. However, five brands exited the service: Ewego, Shell Recharge, Acea, Twl, and E.on. The average December prices are shown here. Always check prices directly at the charging station before you plug in.
