HSE Recommendations for Treatment and Prevention
According to guidelines from the Health Service Executive (HSE), treatment should be limited to individuals confirmed to have an active head lice infestation. However, the HSE recommends that all household members be thoroughly checked for lice and nits as a preventative measure.
