These domains included active antenna units, remote radio units, millimeter wave, baseband units, and advanced software features. The research firm assessed network capacity, deployment efficiency, energy savings, and future evolution potential across all evaluated domains.
Meta AAU Hardware and Multi-Frequency Infrastructure
In the active antenna unit category, Huawei utilized its Meta AAU equipment.
The hardware supports broadband and multi-frequency environments to help telecom operators improve capacity and deployment efficiency while maintaining existing infrastructure.
Gigagreen RRU Hardware and Ultra-6GHz Innovation
For remote radio units, the company advanced its full-band Gigagreen RRU hardware.
This focus targeted reducing equipment weight and power consumption to lower operational expenses and boost deployment efficiency. The company also introduced a massive MIMO device supporting 256 transmitters and 256 receivers alongside more than 1,500 antenna arrays for the 6GHz band, positioning it as the industry’s only U6GHz 256T256R product.
