Huawei Watch GT 7 Series Launched in Indonesia with 21-Day Battery

Huawei has launched its new HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series in Indonesia, introducing health monitoring tools and titanium and ceramic builds, as teknogav.com reported. The lineup arrives amid a notable pricing variance across local reports, with base models starting at Rp3,799,000 according to teknogav.com, while CNN Indonesia and Disway list the entry price at Rp3,999,000.

Titanium Alloys and Ceramic Bezels Against Price Discrepancies

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series splits into the standard GT 7 and the higher-end GT 7 Pro, featuring distinct structural materials and retail costs across reporting outlets. CNN Indonesia and Disway report that the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro starts at Rp5,499,000, whereas teknogav.com lists the Pro variant at Rp4,999,000. Both the 46mm and 41mm editions incorporate AMOLED displays boasting peak brightness levels of up to 3,000 nits, ensuring outdoor visibility under direct sunlight, as noted by Disway. The GT 7 Pro utilizes a titanium alloy case, sapphire glass screen, and a nanocrystal ceramic bezel for enhanced scratch and corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, standard GT 7 models come in 46mm and 41mm sizes with multiple color selections including black, blue, white, and an online-exclusive gray variant, complemented by Easy Cross straps designed for all-day wear.

Coronary Studies and Offline QRIS Payments

Additionally, a partnership with LinkAja brings offline QRIS payment capabilities directly to the wrist. InvestorTrust reported that LinkAja CEO Yogi Rizkian Bahar confirmed the system utilizes QR codes displayed straight from the smartwatch to merchant cashier scanners, functioning without an active internet connection or Bluetooth link to a smartphone. Ini inovasi baru sebenarnya, said Yogi when met by Investortrust.id.

The smartwatch requires users to perform a binding process and enter a PIN during initial setup. For security purposes, the device requests the PIN again whenever it is removed from the wrist. The offline payment service currently operates at merchants including Indomaret, Alfamidi, Lawson, and KFC, where LinkAja balances remain detectable in real time through the merchant systems even while the watch is offline.

Extended Battery Life and Launch Promotions

Battery longevity varies by case size, with 46mm variants running for up to 21 days on a single charge and 41mm versions lasting up to 14 days under lightweight usage conditions, according to teknogav.com. Disway specifies that normal usage reduces those figures to 12 days for the larger model and seven days for the smaller edition. Huawei is running a promotional window from October 7, 2026, through November 6, 2026, bundling items such as HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 3, a three-month HUAWEI Health+ membership, and an exclusive vegan leather strap for Pro buyers, alongside a cash-back offer lasting until November 15, 2026.
