College Implements Unified Curriculum with Practical Training
Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, the college will implement a unified and improved educational system that clearly defines learning outcomes across knowledge, skills, attitude, and cognitive ability. The updated curriculum extends program durations while integrating dedicated practical courses such as legal practice, legal internships, and a final practicum.
To bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world litigation, faculty members have developed case study methods alongside traditional textbooks. The Law Practice and Entrepreneurship Incubation Center serves as the primary ecosystem for these activities. The center acts as a direct bridge between the university and legal professional organizations, organizing professional skill development programs, community legal education, and student apprenticeships.

Facility upgrades support the expanded practical training. The college has opened a newly expanded and modernized law practice room designed to host mock trials, simulated hearings, and simulated people’s council sessions. These spaces allow students to practice litigation, management, and argument skills directly on campus. Recently, high-achieving students visited the High People’s Court headquarters in Đà Nẵng for structured field training.
Bilingual Program Prepares Students for International Careers
Parallel to domestic skill-building, the college is prioritizing foreign language proficiency and integration-oriented thinking to open international career paths for its graduates. Since 2022, the institution has operated a Vietnamese-English bilingual training program for selected cohorts of approximately 60 high-achieving students who meet initial language requirements.
Approximately 50 percent of instruction in the bilingual program is conducted entirely in English. This approach helps students master legal English terminology and methodology required by multinational law firms, major corporations, and international organizations. Short-term international study tours in Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia further supplement classroom learning and help students define their career trajectories.
Students Conduct Research and Compete in National Rounds
Outside of formal coursework, the college maintains an active academic research environment. Students frequently compete in national rounds hosted across Vietnam.
Student scientific research is conducted systematically, earning recognition at both university and provincial levels.
Institutional Rankings and Strategic Targets for 2030
The institution currently holds the chair of the Vietnam Law Schools Network for the 2024–2027 period and is ranked in the 601+ cohort for social sciences, business, and economics by Times Higher Education. University leadership maintains a target of achieving full institutional autonomy by 2030, reinforcing its position as a central hub for legal training and research in Vietnam's central and central highlands regions.
