Hulk hogan’s Real American Freestyle Wrestling to Debut in Cleveland

Hulk Hogan’s Real American Freestyle will launch its first event Aug. 30 at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland,Ohio. The new freestyle wrestling organization aims to deliver an unscripted approach to the sport. Tickets went on sale today.
The Wolstein Center has a history of hosting wrestling events, including NCAA Division I National Championships. Organizers chose Ohio because of its deep roots in wrestling.Chad Bronstein,co-founder of real American Freestyle,said he knows the community’s love for wrestling. He added that the event will inspire the next generation of athletes.
Hogan, commissioner of Real American Freestyle, said Cleveland’s rock-and-roll style is channeling into the event. He added that the Wolstein center is a great partner. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Cleveland State University to support its athletes.
Matches scheduled for Aug. 30 include:
- Real Woods vs.Darrion caldwell
- Austin Gomez vs. Lance Palmer
- Sarah Hildebrandt vs. Zeltzin hernandez Guerra
- Kennedy Blades vs. Alejandra Rivera Arriaga
An opponent for Aaron Brooks will be announced later. Real american Freestyle has signed top wrestlers, including Ben Askren, Kennedy Blades, and sarah Hildebrandt. The organization is partnering with USA Wrestling,NIL organizations,and the NCAA. This allows athletes to compete nonetheless of their NCAA status.
The inaugural event will feature nine-minute matches and high-impact moves. There will be eight weight classes with eight matches for men and four for women. Participants will have access to storytellers, production, and promotion. They can also win championship purses and bonuses.
