contract Extension Details
In an interview with Adventure Gamers on november 13, 2024, the 52-year-old wrestler stated he anticipates remaining with AEW “for quite a while,” both in his current on-screen role and potentially in a behind-the-scenes capacity. MVP did not disclose the length of his new contract or details of any previous agreements.
MVP expressed contentment with his current position within AEW. “I’m very happy where I’m at right now in my career at this stage to be able to continue to contribute to the business and make money with my friends and entertain at the level that we’re still able to maintain,” MVP said.
He also credited AEW President Tony Khan for facilitating the reunion of the popular faction. “I appreciate Tony Khan for giving me, Bobby (Lashley), and Shelton (Benjamin) an opportunity to get the team back together for a final run, and the future looks radiant,” he added.
The Hurt Syndicate’s recent History and Upcoming Match

The Hurt syndicate previously held the AEW World tag Team Championship for 214 days before losing the titles in August 2024.
Currently, MVP, Lashley, and Benjamin are preparing for Full gear on November 22, 2024. Both Lashley and Benjamin are scheduled to participate in the Casino Gauntlet match, with the winner being crowned the inaugural AEW National Champion.
