Hwaseong FC launched an outreach campaign called Operation Hwaseong Virus to turn the visitor stands orange during two away matches scheduled in October against Suwon FC and Suwon Samsung, localgg.co.kr reported.
Fans Receive Orange Gear at Suwon Matches
The club scheduled the two-step fan event for the October 9 fixture against Suwon FC and the October 18 fixture against Suwon Samsung. According to localgg.co.kr, the campaign aims to ease the disappointment of an early end to the home schedule and bring excitement to traveling supporters.
During the first mission on October 9 and October 18, fans who arrive at the away gate wearing orange items receive a complimentary cheering towel on a first-come, first-served basis. The second mission takes place solely at the October 18 Suwon Samsung match, where fans bringing their previously issued towel receive an additional cheering shirt to boost crowd energy in the stands, localgg.co.kr and suwonilbo.kr reported.
Stamp Tour Rewards Fans During Stadium Renovation
Hwaseong FC is currently playing its matches away from home because the team’s stadium is undergoing renovation work ahead of the 2027 National Sports Festival. To maintain fan engagement during the extended road schedule, suwonilbo.kr noted that the club launched a stamp tour program.

The stamp tour runs from the remaining away matches of the current season through the opening fixture of next year. Fans collect stamps by attending games and receive various souvenirs depending on the total count. Supporters who collect the complete set of stamps earn an away uniform for the 2027 season, according to localgg.co.kr.
Club Leadership Remarks on Away Support
Song Jong-guk, CEO of Hwaseong FC, said, “We gain great strength in away games thanks to the fans who always give us their unwavering support,” adding, “I hope that this event for the two consecutive away games in Suwon and the stamp tour will serve as an opportunity for the fans and the club to unite as one.”
Detailed information regarding the events remains available through the official communication channels of Hwaseong FC.
