Hyundai Rotem to provide further rail automobiles to Boston

South Korea’s Hyundai Rotem Co introduced on Friday that it has signed a contract with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) to provide further bi-level commuter rail automobiles for Boston.

The worth of the contract is 240 billion received ($177 million).

Boston’s bilevel commuter automobile challenge is a part of the MBTA’s efforts to handle rising demand for commuter companies and exchange getting old automobiles.

That is the third time Hyundai Rotem has equipped bi-level commuter automobiles to the MBTA.

Hyundai Rotem beforehand received the MBTA bi-level commuter automobile challenge in 2008 and later signed a further provide contract for a similar challenge in 2019.
