Hyundai Steel Expands Market by Developing CORE Product

Hyundai Steel recently hosted a ‘CORE Solution Product Development Performance Sharing Meeting’ at the Hyundai Steel Training Center in Dangjin, South Korea.

This performance sharing meeting provided a platform to share progress and future plans for 13 H CORE Solution product development tasks, focusing on eco-friendly and low-carbon areas, smart construction areas, and safety areas. The meeting also recognized outstanding tasks and rewarded their achievements.

Hyundai Steel initiated the H CORE Solution product development project last year, and the 13 selected tasks have finally come to fruition this year. The project ‘Development of H-beam applying reverse hammering pillar’ was chosen as the best task out of 13 tasks, receiving high praise for its potential to reduce costs for customers by minimizing steel usage compared to traditional H-beam applications in construction sites.

Hyundai Steel plans to expand the utility of the H CORE product brand in the construction market by applying exemplary projects to actual construction sites and developing related commercialization models. This strategic move aims to increase market competitiveness and contribute to the development of construction technology in the future.

In addition, Hyundai Steel will host a competition for the development of a new H CORE Solution product from October 23 to October 31. This competition will encourage innovation and collaboration with industry and academia, further solidifying the excellence of H CORE products.

A Hyundai Steel official stated, “Through continuous collaboration with industry and academia, we will publicize the excellence of H CORE products and increase market competitiveness, thereby contributing to the development of construction technology in the future.”
