Cork Entrepreneur Spices Up Christmas with Belgian Chocolate Puddings
Cork, Ireland – Sadhbh Cosgrove, a 26-year-old entrepreneur from Cork, is putting a unique twist on a holiday classic. Cosgrove, founder of Choice Christmas Pudding, is crafting decadent belgian chocolate puddings infused with liqueurs and spices, offering a flavorful alternative to customary fruitcake.
Cosgrove, a graduate of Dublin City University, recently returned to Cork to be closer to family and launch her business. She’s also participating in the New Frontiers program at the Munster Technological University (MTU),a program designed to support startups.
“I’m a total homebody,” Cosgrove says,describing her ideal Friday night as a cozy evening in with takeout and a good drink,catching up with friends and her boyfriend. While she prefers to sleep in, the demands of her seasonal business often have her up with the lark during the busy holiday season.
Cosgrove’s passion for her business is evident.”Around the Christmas season, work definitely creeps into the weekend,” she admits. “But it’s all worth it when I see people enjoying my puddings.”
When she’s not busy whipping up chocolatey delights, Cosgrove enjoys exploring Cork’s vibrant food scene. “I love the Marina Market,” she says. “There are so many amazing food stalls there, and I always end up buying lunch.”
Cosgrove’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to her craft are sure to make Alternative christmas Pudding a holiday favorite.
