Ibn Qadsa Discusses Saudi Development Projects in Yemen with al-Mahdi
Saudi Arabia and OPEC Fund Discuss Yemen Growth at Desertification Conference
Riyadh, Saudi arabia – On the sidelines of the Sixteenth Conference of Parties to Combat Desertification (COP16), high-level officials from Saudi Arabia and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) met to discuss ongoing development projects in Yemen.
Abdullah Bin Kadsa, Assistant General Supervisor of Institutional Relations and Head of the Communications and International Cooperation Sector of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, met with Jafar al-Mahdi, Director of the Asia and Pacific Region at OFID.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of development projects and initiatives implemented through the Saudi program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen. Discussions also centered on strengthening cooperation and partnership to further contribute to Yemen’s development.

The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen has been actively involved in implementing projects across 14 Yemeni governorates, spanning eight key sectors: education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, capacity building of public institutions, and development programs.
