Ibrahim Fayek Spills the Beans: The Shocking Reason Behind Al-Ahli’s Logo Appearance in African Super Studio Without Zamalek
African Super Cup Match Sparks Controversy Over Studio Logo
Sports journalist Ibrahim Fayek found himself at the center of a controversy surrounding the presence of the Al-Ahly club logo in the studio background during the analysis of the African Super Cup match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek.
The highly anticipated match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek is set to take place this Friday at 9pm at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
Addressing the issue on MBC Egypt 2, Fayek clarified that the presence of the Al-Ahly logo was not a deliberate attempt to show bias towards either team. He explained, “The studio is not exclusively affiliated with Al-Ahly, and it features both Al-Ahly and Zamalek flags and logos.”
Fayek further elaborated on the matter, stating, ”The stadium’s design features four columns, with two bearing the Al-Ahly logo and the other two bearing the Zamalek logo. Unfortunately, the studio’s location coincidentally placed the Al-Ahly logo in the background.”
