Since 1816, some communities in NYC suburbs have been built for many New Yorkers who preferred small Family Homes to raise children with private yards, a clean and safe park, good schools, and a quiet place to reside after a hard day’s labor.
For this American Dream, immigrants worked tirelessly to leave a legacy, heartfully and rigorously maintained generation after generation.
But quality of life in Queens has always been a battle for communities like Middle Village, Maspeth, Glendale and their like. These neighborhoods now face their greatest enemy.
The Developers
“The Business of America is Business” but the path must not be at the expense of its citizens.
Too often, unscrupulous Developers do not care about the people or families that get in the way of high profits. They have no moral code that binds them to righteousness, and will stop at nothing to influence politics, change zoning laws, destroy neighborhood quality of life, anything, to get what they want.
In league with car services like Uber or Lyft, small communities are David to their Goliath.
From Homeless Shelters to Bicycle Lanes, we have seen this before. Now, in the guise of Affordable Housing, “The City of Yes” brings the IBX Light Rail.
From the Developers’ point of view, it is always the same. They want to tear down adjacent small homes and replace them with 12 story high-rises, and without parking garages.
You can see it in their frustration at hearings and meetings. When they cannot con small communities to acquiesce, they become enraged. They are entitled to make their fortunes; consent of the targeted neighborhoods be damned.
So, in addition to twisting the law, they fund and manipulate their “useful idiots.”
The Homeless Shelter Moral Champions
We first heard from a so-called artist, and his ilk, a passionate speech for a proposed homeless shelter. Moral champions “for women and children and seniors.”
Who could be against such compassion?
Then from this love of humanity, came the first protest “March,” an attack on the home of a local councilman by students all the way from NYU and Columbia University. They ripped out neighboring American flags and called residents Nazis.
Fortunately for the Councilman and unfortunately for others, they got the wrong address. So, finding the correct address, they returned and shouted “Nazi” at the police divide and, “Defund the police.”
But when the community counter-protesters escorted these pseudo-moralists back to the “M” Train station, they ironically switched to shouting, “Where are the police? “
Who pays the megaphone lady to lead youth, and what kind of professor gives them school credit? Why would a bunch of ignorant Brown-Shirt-Like students from Manhattan come “March” through a Queens neighborhood over a proposed homeless shelter?
They do not “march” to put shelters in the Universities themselves or next to politicians’ or Developers’ homes. Rather than students becoming productive members of society, they are political puppets with imaginary Just Causes.
The result: instead of women and children and seniors, 200 Rikers Island prisoners on probation run crime rings from the shelter, stealing residents’ car parts and mail packages, dealing drugs, and no “women or children,” or anybody remain safe in their own neighborhood.
Where are the compassionate moral champions and virtuous students now?
The Virtuous Bicycle Lane People
Next it was the same with the Bicycle Lane People who will never have the mobility and freedom a car offers. They call it fighting man-made Climate Change, a debunked hoax but still repeated and insisted by media and politicians.
Some say bike lanes are for “safety,” but that idea is in fact pushed by the accident lawyers (insurance companies settle), car services like Uber (who want less personal cars to compete), and Housing Developers (to close small businesses that require more parking for customers).
It is not a bicyclist lifestyle, the desire or affordability of a motor vehicle that is at issue; that is their business. But the Bicycle Lane People that come to protest from as far as New Jersey and Connecticut to Queens despise people with cars.
They hate people who can afford to have a car, to pick up children from school, drive to the park for sports, then pick up groceries all in one shot.
The real issue for the Bike Lane People is that no one should be allowed more freedom and mobility than anyone else. And they admit it when they say they do not want Citi Bikes located on sidewalks but on streets to remove parking spaces.
These envious fools with misplaced fantasy ethics are infringing on fundamental freedoms.

The IBX Light Rail Pseudo Morality People
We now must hear about the need for Affordable Housing from more of the morally superior, but they are in fact clueless and vile as they ruin the neighborhoods created and maintained by hard working residents, often built over generations.
They do not care about residents’ families, the noise, vibration and soot from more railways. They loathe uncrowded pleasant communities.
It is the moral pretense from these non-contributing, envious “moral betters” that feign virtue as they push to destroy other people’s earned lifestyles and livelihoods. They hate communities for having clean, safe parks and peaceful neighborhoods.
Offended, they despise the better schools created by good parenting, and streets with less garbage and less rats.
And a favored chant, “Tax the Rich?” The “Rich” developers of the IBX Light Rail will not live next to the train nor do the phony morality-people nor do either take in people who need affordable housing.
Created by their own polices, the pseudo concerned want to lump-dump the non-working, mentally ill, homeless from overcrowded areas, and the multiplying illegals, onto the backs of others who earned and built their neighborhoods.
The virtuous outsiders call their envy “social justice,” and theft “redistribution” the way stealing jobs from those deserving call it “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”
And some inside the community have no vision. Those who argue they can get to work easier do so at their own and their neighbors’ expense. The trains will rumble past their homes every 5 minutes day and night.
Property values go up for those who sell before their neighborhood becomes degraded while lowering the value for everyone else. But then, these are often the same people that believe God and nature got it wrong and countless children are born into the wrong sex.
Summed Up
The small communities are the victims of both the elite builders and their foolish mob.
The same pseudo-morality people, who voted the party line for Bail Reform knowingly releasing career criminals back into society, repeat offenders, illegal alien gang members, drunk drivers, Cuomo, Hochul and now Mamdanido not care about the victims.
These voters are personally responsible, culpable for the resulting murders, rapes, and other criminal, and financial issues. At best, they blame Trump rather than face their own guilt and shame. This is exactly what they will do when more Queens neighborhoods degrade.
The same people who do not consider shoplifting a crime internally identify with those that can do as they please and get away with it, some kind of pathological wish-fulfillment.
These lost, empty people are pushing for the dissolution of society. The last of the remaining NYC small neighborhoods do want to assist them and do not want the IBX Light Rail.
