Family-owned morrison Weighing Systems will relocate from Illinois to an expanded facility in the University of Iowa Research Park in coralville. The company manufactures high-speed weighing and labeling systems for the food processing and manufacturing industries.

Electro Freeze – Relocating to Davenport
H.C. Duke & Son, operating as Electro Freeze, will relocate from Illinois to a 300,000-square-foot facility in Davenport. The company manufactures foodservice equipment for a global market.

Sioux Honey Association – Expanding in sioux City
Sioux Honey Association, known for its sue Bee and Aunt Sue’s honey brands, is consolidating its California operations into an expanded campus in Sioux City. This move will keep the company headquartered in Iowa and create new jobs.
Sioux Honey produces over 40 million pounds of honey annually and is the first honey brand nationally certified to have at least 95% of its ingredients grown in the U.S.
Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) Grants
The IEDA also approved $1.677 million in Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) grants for four projects across the state. The CAT program supports the construction and betterment of recreational, cultural, educational, and entertainment facilities.
