Ismaili Vice President: Ihab Galal Continues with Us

Farag Omran, vice president of the Ismaili Council, revealed the position of Ihab Jalal, the team’s technical director, on continuing to train dervishes after he fell ill.

In a statement to Al-Watan Sport, the club’s vice-president said that Ehab Jalal continues to train the team and will return to leadership during preparations.

He added that the board of directors checks the technical director’s health status daily, indicating that the board of directors supports Ehab Jalal and that he is capable of restoring the prestige of Darwishes again.

Ehab Jalal’s Health Issues

Dervish’s technical director Ehab Galal was suffering from health problems and was transferred to a hospital in Cairo.

Ihab Jalal underwent two surgeries and was kept under intensive observation for 48 hours.

Omran denied what appeared in press reports about the departure of the technical director from Al-Darwish due to health reasons.

It should be noted that Ehab Galal’s contract expired at the end of the last football season.

The preparation period for Darwish will begin on September 15.
