Illinois women’s basketball will compete in the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship in November 2026, facing Marquette and St. Joseph’s across three days of tournament action in the Bahamas, according to regional reporting from WCIA. Head coach Shauna Green’s team joins a six-team field for the early-season event, which runs from Nov. 27-29, 2026, at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center.
Tournament Schedule and Matchups
The Illini open tournament play on Nov. 27 against Marquette, with tip-off scheduled for 10 a.m. Following the opening matchup against the Golden Eagles, Illinois will face Saint Joseph’s on Nov. 29, also starting at 10 a.m. CT. All games during the multi-day event take place at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center in Nassau.
