Temporary Closure of After-Hours Clinic in Lewisporte

Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services will temporarily close the after-hours clinic at the Lewisporte Health Centre until Saturday, November 23, at 6:00 p.m.

In Case of Emergency:

  • For a medical emergency requiring an ambulance, call 911.
  • If you have a serious or urgent medical issue, go to the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander.
  • If uncertain about visiting the emergency department, call the 811 HealthLine.

The 811 HealthLine is available 24/7 for:

  • Medical advice, including virtual nurse practitioner appointments (usually within three days).
  • Health information.
  • Support in a mental health crisis.
