At the end of the Omar Effendi series, episode 9, the audience begins searching for “The Ghost”, one of the protagonists of the work who covers his face with a mask that hides half of his face, and just as the audience does. As the masked singer Taolet tries to reveal his identity, the ghostly character has sparked speculation among followers of the Omar Effendi series that he is Ahmed Hatim or the artist Mahmoud Hafez.

In the ninth and eighth episodes of the Omar Effendi series, a masked ghost appeared with half of his face hidden and the audience guessed their names to reveal the identity of the masked singer Toulet. A number of characters are suspected to be “ghost” characters.

Before Omar Effendi introduced public opinion on the ghost of the series, his storyline in the series revolved around a man who kidnaps British officers and is advertised and paid in episodes eight and nine to find him. Anyone who finds him and reports him to a sign that reads “Ghost… A generous reward for whoever finds him.”
