Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its animated film, In Your Dreams, about a brother and sister who enter a surreal dream world. The siblings seek the mythical Sandman, hoping he will grant their wish for an ideal family.
Alex Woo and Erik Benson directed the original feature. Woo previewed the film at the Annecy International Animation Festival.
The film centers on Stevie, voiced by Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, and her brother Elliot, voiced by Elias Janssen. Their journey includes encounters wiht Baloney Tony, a sarcastic giraffe voiced by Craig Robinson, zombie breakfast foods, and a man-eating hot dog.
The voice cast for In Your Dreams also includes Simu Liu, Cristin Milioti, Omid Djalili, Gia Carides, sungwon Cho, and Zachary Noah Piser. Woo and Stanley Moore co-wrote the screenplay, with original music by John Debney.
