India COVID-19 Cases See Nationwide Rise
New data from the union Health Ministry reveals a rise in India’s active COVID-19 cases, reaching 7,400. The nation recorded 269 new infections and nine additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
Kerala continues to play a meaningful role, reporting 2,109 active cases, the highest in India. The state also accounted for three of the newly reported deaths. Karnataka saw a spike of 132 new infections, bringing its total to 527. tamil Nadu reported 12 new cases, with 232 active cases overall. One death occurred in Tamil Nadu. Andhra Pradesh reported 15 new cases, while Telangana added three.
In western India, Gujarat’s active COVID-19 count rose to 1,437 with 79 new cases and two deaths. Maharashtra reported four deaths, with 613 active cases.Rajasthan’s active cases reached 180 after seven new infections, and one death was reported.
Delhi reported 42 new cases, bringing its active count to 672, and saw eight deaths. Uttar Pradesh now has 248 active cases after three new infections. Other northern states saw minor changes.
West Bengal’s active case tally remains at 747, though one death is under data reconciliation. Bihar reported five new cases. Most northeastern states reported few or no new cases.

Cardiovascular Risks Post-COVID
