Hillang Yajik, representing Arunachal Pradesh, made history at the 15th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2025 in Thimphu, Bhutan, by securing a gold medal in the Women’s Model Physique (up to 155 cm) category. She also won a silver medal in another category.
Yajik’s victory marks her as the first woman athlete from Arunachal Pradesh to achieve a gold medal in physique sports at an international tournament. The championship took place from June 11 to 15.
