Hillang Yajik, representing ‍Arunachal⁣ Pradesh, made history⁣ at the 15th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2025 in‌ Thimphu, Bhutan,​ by securing a gold medal in ⁣the Women’s​ Model Physique (up ⁣to 155⁤ cm) ⁤category. She also won a silver medal⁣ in another category.

⁤ Yajik’s ⁤victory marks⁤ her as the first ​woman athlete from Arunachal Pradesh to achieve a gold medal in physique‍ sports at an international tournament. ⁤The championship took place from June 11 to 15.
