While waiting outside the operating room, Pan-Ban, who has facial paralysis and difficulty speaking, reportedly raised his hand when a hospital employee called ⁢out a name that was ⁤not his sonS. ⁢Hospital staff then escorted ⁣him into the operating room, apparently without verifying his ⁢identity.

Once ‍inside,⁤ the⁢ surgical team prepared Pan-Ban for a dialysis procedure, laying him⁤ on the operating table and⁢ anesthetizing his arms.

The error ⁢was discovered when Manish noticed his father’s ⁢absence. Doctors then entered the operating room and halted the procedure, according to hospital sources.
