Indiana High School Girls Basketball: Semi-State Tournament Pairings & Schedule 2026

The road to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis is becoming clearer for Indiana’s high school girls basketball teams. The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) announced semi-state pairings on Sunday, setting the stage for a thrilling weekend of competition next Saturday, February 21.

Class 4A: A Pair of Compelling Matchups

LaPorte High School will host the Class 4A semi-state, featuring a pair of intriguing contests. Northridge (20-7) will face off against McCutcheon (22-5) at 11 a.m. Eastern, followed by a clash between Crown Point (23-4) and Norwell (23-4) at 1 p.m. Eastern. The championship game, determining who advances to the state finals, is scheduled for 9 p.m. Eastern.

Jasper Set to Host Another Class 4A Semi-State

Meanwhile, Jasper High School will also host a Class 4A semi-state. Floyd Central (23-3) will battle Lawrence Central (21-4) at 10 a.m. Eastern, and Center Grove (26-0) – boasting an unblemished record – will take on Evansville Reitz (21-2) at noon Eastern. The championship game is slated for 8 p.m. Eastern.

Class 3A: Logansport and Southport to Showcase Talent

Class 3A action will be split between Logansport and Southport. At Logansport, Bellmont (22-3) will challenge Culver Academies (22-5) at 10 a.m. Eastern, and Connersville (20-7) will meet Fairfield (20-6) at noon Eastern. The championship game will follow at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Southport will host Washington (22-4) against Jennings County (19-6) at 10 a.m. Eastern, followed by a matchup between Northview (20-6) and Roncalli (25-3) at noon Eastern. The Class 3A championship at Southport is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern.

Class 2A: Frankfort and Greencastle to Host Semi-State Games

Frankfort High School will be the site for a Class 2A semi-state, with Lapel (22-4) taking on Bremen (23-2) at 10 a.m. Eastern and Whitko (25-1) facing Oak Hill (22-3) at noon Eastern. The championship game is set for 8 p.m. Eastern.

Greencastle High School will host the other Class 2A semi-state. Heritage Christian (19-8) will play Parke Heritage (19-7) at 10 a.m. Eastern, and Eastern (Pekin) (18-7) will compete against North Knox (19-6) at noon Eastern. The championship game will conclude the day at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Class 1A: Huntington North and Charlestown to Determine Finalists

In Class 1A, Huntington North will host a semi-state featuring North Miami (18-8) against Elkhart Christian (22-4) at 10 a.m. Eastern, and Fremont (26-2) versus Monroe Central (21-2) at noon Eastern. The championship game is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern.

Charlestown High School will host the other Class 1A semi-state. Evansville Christian (19-6) will play Borden (22-4) at 10 a.m. Eastern, and Greenwood Christian (16-10) will face Tindley (17-5) at noon Eastern. The championship game will be played at 8 p.m. Eastern.

The winners of these semi-state contests will advance to the IHSAA state finals, which will be held on Saturday, February 28 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The schedule for the state finals is as follows: Class A at 10:30 a.m., Class 2A at 12:45 p.m., Class 3A at 6 p.m., and Class 4A at 8:15 p.m.

Several teams from the viewing area are well-represented in the semi-state round, having secured regional championships on Saturday. Northridge, Culver Academies, Fairfield, Bremen, Whitko, and Elkhart Christian will all be looking to continue their strong postseason runs and punch their tickets to Indianapolis.
