Indomobil eMotor QT Launches at IIMS 2026 with 135 Km Range and Rp15 Million Price Tag

PT Indomobil Emotor Internasional (IEI) has launched two new electric scooter models, the Indomobil eMotor QT and QT Pro, as part of a strategic effort to expand its presence in the Indonesian two-wheeled electric vehicle market. The models were officially introduced during the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, which took place from February 5 to February 15, 2026, at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta.

The introduction of the QT series is intended to accelerate the transition toward eco-friendly mobility within the national market. According to Pius Wirawan, Chief Executive Officer of PT Indomobil Emotor Internasional, the launch is aligned with the company’s long-term vision to provide electric motorcycles that meet the requirements of modern urban consumers.

Pricing and Model Variants

The company has positioned the QT series as urban scooters designed for practical and efficient daily mobility. The two variants differ primarily in their battery capacity and pricing.

The standard Indomobil eMotor QT is marketed at a price of Rp15,000,000. The higher-specification QT Pro variant is priced at Rp18,800,000. Both prices are listed as On The Road (OTR) Jakarta.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The primary technical distinction between the two models lies in their power systems and resulting range. The standard QT model utilizes a single Lithium battery with a capacity of 1.44 kWh (60V 24Ah). This model has a total weight of 82.5 kg.

The QT Pro features a dual-battery system, combining two 60V 24Ah batteries for a total capacity of 2.88 kWh. This configuration allows the QT Pro to achieve a travel distance of 135 km. The increased battery capacity brings the total weight of the QT Pro to 95.7 kg.

In addition to the extended range, the QT Pro includes specific technical features not found in the standard model, such as Hill Start Assist.

Market Positioning

By offering a starting price point of Rp15 million, PT Indomobil Emotor Internasional is targeting urban consumers who require efficient transportation for daily commutes. The company’s strategy involves leveraging the Indomobil Group’s infrastructure to strengthen its competitive position in the growing electric vehicle sector in Indonesia.

The QT and QT Pro models were showcased at the Indomobil eMotor booth during the IIMS 2026 event, emphasizing a design intended for urban environments and the integration of current safety systems for its class.
